Miracle Method started in 1979 with a single location in the San Francisco Bay Area. The decision was made to grow the business through franchising. Franchising works because each location is independently owned and operated. When you are dealing with a Miracle Method franchisee, you are dealing with someone who has invested a significant amount of time, money, and resources into building his or her business. When you are dealing with a Miracle Method franchisee, you are dealing with the owner. Our franchisees are professionals. Each franchisee is required to successfully complete initial training, as well as continuing education....just like many other professionals.
In business over 38 years, Miracle Method has grown to over 140 locations in the United States. We add locations only as we find franchisees who are like-minded and committed to delivering top quality work and service. With ever increasing demand for refinishing, Miracle Method is committed to continued expansion throughout the US.
Where did the name come from?
The Miracle Method name came naturally. What led to the start of our business was the development of a unique, proprietary bonding agent that eliminated the use of hydrofluoric acid, which had been required, up to that point, to etch porcelain or ceramic tile in order for a new finish to stick in the refinishing process. Known as MM-4, this new bonding agent increased adhesion so significantly that it was immediately declared a “miracle”. The Miracle Method was born and MM-4 now has a nearly 40-year track record. It remains the most significant difference between our process and every other refinishing process. We know our system works...and have built our business on that success.
